Detailed itinerary

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

  • 06:30 AM – Pick-Up & Welcome
    Pick-up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet your professional driver-guide and receive a detailed safari briefing.

  • 07:00 AM – Departure from Nairobi
    Begin your journey via the Great Rift Valley escarpment, enjoying changing landscapes from urban Nairobi to highlands and open savannah.

  • 08:30 – 09:00 AM – Rift Valley Viewpoint Stop
    Enjoy panoramic views of the Rift Valley floor and a short photography session. Optional tea or coffee break.

  • 10:30 – 11:00 AM – Narok Town Stopover
    Restroom break and optional visit to Maasai curio shops for beadwork and souvenirs.

  • 01:00 PM – Arrival, Check-In & Lunch
    Arrival at AA Lodge Maasai Mara, welcome drinks, lunch, and short relaxation.

  • 03:30 – 06:30 PM – Evening Game Drive
    First introduction to the Mara ecosystem. Possible sightings include lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and gazelles. Enjoy a spectacular African sunset before returning to the lodge.

DAY 2: MAASAI MARA – CULTURAL EXPERIENCE – LAKE NAKURU

  • 06:00 AM – Sunrise Game Drive
    Early morning game drive, the best time for predator sightings including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and possibly leopards. Ideal lighting for photography.

  • 09:00 AM – Breakfast
    Bush breakfast or breakfast at the lodge.

  • 09:30 AM – Maasai Cultural Village Visit
    Visit a traditional Maasai Manyatta. Experience cultural dances, guided hut tours, learn about Maasai customs, social structure, and beadwork demonstrations. Opportunity to interact with community members and purchase handmade souvenirs.

  • 11:00 AM – Departure for Lake Nakuru
    Scenic drive through the Rift Valley landscapes.

    Arrival and check-in at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

    Explore woodland, lake shore, and grassland habitats. Spot black and white rhinos, flamingos, pelicans, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, and possibly lions. Visit scenic viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff and Lion Hill (time permitting).

DAY 3: LAKE NAKURU – NAIROBI
